Calendar

Midweek Practices

• Midweek shoots are held approximately monthly - early in the month from September to November and later in the month the rest of the year (to try and avoid the really cold weather in winter - often without success!).
• Published dates are subject to change depending on people’s availability. We usually shoot on a Tuesday, when NRA target hire fees are discounted. All midweek shoots are advertised across club membership approximately 2 weeks in advance via WhatsApp.
• These shoots are open to all Club members, and the format for each day is decided amongst those attending. They are a perfect opportunity for individual practice. Coached shooting / training and the provision of club equipment are only by prior arrangement.

Club / School Practice Days

• These dates are fixed around the school exeat weekends to enable the school to attend. The format for each day will vary, but the intention is to provide club members the chance to practice, especially in the morning, and then for club members to help coach the school in the afternoon. These days are also ideal for any Old Bedfordian shooter considering returning to shooting to join us (under coached supervision), all rifles and equipment can be provided.

BRC / School Spring Weekend

• Scheduled early in the TR season this weekend is aimed at providing some friendly individual competition as well as a friendly mixed school / club team match followed by a dinner on the Saturday evening.
• Saturday is ideal for any Old Bedfordian shooter considering returning to shooting to join us (under coached supervision), all rifles and equipment can be provided.

Q Matches

• Q Matches are team matches organised by The Old Framlinghamians, involving up to 10 other schools. The format is usually decided on the day based on team and attendee numbers. Although a team event we often allow club members to choose whether they are coached or not, offering them another option for practice as the season progresses. Q Matches require full commitment to attend from club members at least 6-7 weeks in advance.

Individual Events

• These individual (self-coached) dates are for information only as they are organised by other clubs, but club members sometimes coordinate their entries to meet up at certain events.
